A battle of the bands helped a good cause Saturday night.

The New Hope Blount County Children's Advocacy Center celebrated its 10th year with a rocking fundraiser at Maryville College.

It was all about kids helping kids. Teens organized and ran the event to raise money for victims of child abuse.

"Before the center started 10 years ago, a child that was abused had to go to all these different locations like the police station and a therapist and tell their story over and over again," said Hannah Rials, a 17-year-old student that organized the event. "At New Hope the logo is one story, one time, one place so they don't get re-traumatized. Everything they need is at one center."

Tickets for the event cost $5.
