A judge sentenced a 63-year-old Maryville woman to 39 years in prison for her role in a prescription pill mill.
Authorities said Sandra Kincaid wrote prescriptions without a license and allowed customers to shoot up and sell drugs in their parking lot.
Federal and local law enforcement raided and shut down the Breakthrough Pain Therapy Center in December 2010. Agents seized a significant amount of prescription pain pills, firearms, and nearly $700,000 in cash.
A jury convicted Kincaid of drug and money laundering in October 2013. The court also convicted her husband, Randy and her children, Dustin Morgan and Wendi Henry.
U.S. attorney Bill Killian said the judge handed over a lengthy sentence because Kincaid sold highly addictive drugs to many people over a long period of time.
