(WBIR-Madisonville) Fire officials said a mother and son died after flames ripped through a Madisonville home Easter Sunday morning.

Around 9:30 a.m., several departments responded to the fire on Short Bark Road, where the home was already fully engulfed.

Officials identified the victims as Louise Turner, 86, and William "Tank" Turner, 51.

Family members told WBIR 10News Louise Turner was cooking Easter Sunday dinner for the family, who gathers for dinner at the home every Sunday.

It took crews an hour to contain the flames. The cause of the fire has not been determined.
