Four World War II veterans from Tennessee will receive France's highest honor. The men will receive the Legion of Honor during a ceremony next week in Nashville.

Two of the men who will receive medals are from Crossville. Private First Class William Drasal and Private First Class Edwin Lansford are being honored for their work to liberate France from oppression in the 1940s.

Napoleon Bonaparte founded The National Order of the Legion of Honor in 1802.
