A Knox County man is behind bars after police say he held up a Knoxville pharmacy with a knife.
According to Knoxville Police, Ronald Dean Rosenbaum, 54, of Mascot, robbed the Walgreens at 2400 N. Broadway just after 6 pm on Monday. Witnesses told responding officers that the suspect got into a car and headed east on Washington Pike. Officers followed, and stopped and arrested Rosenbaum shortly afterwards.
Officers found the knife and the drugs taken in the robbery in his possession. He was taken back to the pharmacy to be identified by the victims, then taken to jail.
Rosenbaum is charged with 2 counts of armed robbery, driving under the influence, and driving on revoked license.
No one was hurt.
