Knoxville Police are looking for the person or people responsible for hanging banners with a white supremacist statement on them from a Knoxville overpass.

911 got a call about the banners just before 9 am Monday morning. They were hanging from the Norfolk Southern Railroad bridge over I-640, near the Pleasant Ridge Road overpass. There were two vinyl banners, one facing east bound traffic and the other facing west bound traffic.

Norfolk Southern Police and KPD officers removed the banners.
