A long-time Knoxville businessman is being honored for the family home he's kept for several decades.
Knox Heritage presented Paul Howard with a "Fantastic Fifteen: Excellence in Continuing Maintenace" award at his nursing home on Wednesday.
The 91-year-old has maintained his home on Broadway in North Knoxville for years.
Howard says he couldn't have done it without a lot of help from his family.
"They do, they just chip in and they do a good job," he said.
Not only did Howard live in the home, he also ran his plumbing business there called "Howard and Howard Plumbing."
He got into plumbing after returning from World War Two.
