Oak Ridge police arrested two suspects allegedly involved in of a string of burglaries over a two-week period early Thursday morning.

(WBIR-Oak Ridge) Oak Ridge police arrested two suspects allegedly involved in of a string of burglaries over a two-week period early Thursday morning.

Police learned about the suspects investigating a car burglary, involving a handgun. They tied this case to multiple car and home burglaries in the Briarcliff neighborhood of Oak Ridge.

Officers detained five potential suspects at the Terra Hills Apartment Complex at about 4 a.m. During a search of the apartment, police uncovered a substantial amount of property linked to burglaries over a two-week period in Oak Ridge.

Chase Davis, 19, and Bryson Higgins, 18, of Oak Ridge are facing several counts of burglary and possession of stolen property.Police said recovered property includes, but is not limited to, sporting equipment.

According to an Oak Ridge Police release, additional charges are pending at this time, and the investigation remains ongoing.
