(WBIR) Bojangles', a popular fast-food restaurant, opened its doors for the first time to customers in Oak Ridge Friday morning.
The new location on 490 South Illinois Avenue gave the first 100 customers $100 gift cards when it opened at 5 a.m. One lucky person even won free breakfast for a year.
This is the first Bojangles' in Oak Ridge, and the chain estimates the new location will create an average of 80-90 jobs. Another Bojangles' opened in Crossville earlier this month as part of the chain's expansion into East Tennessee. Bojangles' also has a location in Madisonville and in Knoxville at the corner of Kingston Pike and Cedar Bluff.
The Oak Ridge restaurant will seat more than 75 guests and serve all menu items, including breakfast, from 5 a.m. - 10 p.m. seven days a week.
