Authorities in Anderson County are still looking for the man who robbed an elderly man at gunpoint at his own home.
According to the Anderson County Sheriff's Department, the 83-year-old man was working in his garage at his home on Andersonville Highway Wednesday afternoon when a man approached him.
At first, the man said he needed a tractor belt. Then, he said, "I don't need a tractor belt. I want your money."
The man took two wallets from the victim, one containing a $100 bill and the other about $90 dollars. He also stole the man's 2000 Buick, but told him he'd "get his car back soon." The victim was not injured.
The car was located a short time later in the 400 block of Indian Gap Road.
The suspect was described as approximately 6 feet tall, very thin build, with little or no facial hair. He was wearing a dark green jacket, dingy blue jeans, and a black toboggan.
