The THP is investigating a two-vehicle accident that sent an Oak Ridge Police officer and two others to the hospital.
(WBIR- Oak Ridge) The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating a two-vehicle accident that sent an Oak Ridge Police Department officer and two others to the hospital Sunday afternoon.
According to the Oak Ridge Police Department, the collision happened at the intersection of Rutgers Avenue and Illinois Avenue in Oak Ridge around 2:12 p.m.
The officer was alone in the police car. He was taken to UT Medical Center with non life-threatening injuries.
There were two people in the other vehicle. Both were taken to Methodist Medical Center. They both had non life-threatening injuries.
