(WBIR) Several members of the "Duck Dynasty crew stopped by Sevierville this weekend to speak to thousands of East Tennessee teenagers.

John Luke and Sadie Robertson spoke at the Connect Student Conference about their journey through life and how their faith has helped guide them.

The teens also briefly touched on the recent controversy surrounding their grandfather's brief suspension from the A&E tv series.

"Just pray that we stay together as a family, because that's the most important part of the show. That is what 'Duck Dynasty' is about, it's family, it's faith, it's fun," Sadie Robertson said.

The teens mother, Korie Robertson, also made a surprise appearance to join them and their younger sister for a prayer on stage.

Around 5,000 teens from across the region were in attendance for the weekend-long convention at the Sevierville Events Center.
