(WBIR, Sevierville) - The Smoky Mountain RV Show kicks off Friday, and this year it's doubled in size.
The show features all types of motor homes, fifth wheels, pop up campers, and accessories. It is usually held at the Sevierville Events Center, but this year they added a second location just a few miles away at the new LeConte Center in Pigeon Forge.
The show's owner says adding the extra square footage allows them to show even more products to visitors.
"It's made it one of the largest RV shows in the Southeast, and we are proud of that, and it should be. We're at the heart of the Smoky Mountains, camping is a way of life here. It should have a show like this. It's really given us an opportunity to have a lot more vehicles, a lot more features," said show owner Rob Lynch.
The show has everything from smaller trailers that are popular for tailgating to high end motor homes with all the works.
It starts Friday at 1:00 p.m. and lasts all weekend. Tickets are $6 for both locations.
