The Hard Rock Cafe has moved down the Parkway from Gatlinburg to Pigeon Forge, and the new and improved restaurant finally opened its doors on Tuesday.
The new Hard Rock is located at 2050 Parkway, right next to Wonderworks.
The 12,000 square foot restaurant will seat 302 guests, features private event space, free parking, patio seating, a live music stage, and tons of great music memorabilia from all genres.
Among the highlighted items on display are a Taylor Swift vintage lace dress, hats that John Lennon wore at the Liverpool College of Art in the late 1950's, boots that were custom made for Liberace, a corduroy jacket from Pearl Jam's frontman Eddie Vedder, sequined stretch pants worn on stage by the King of Pop Michael Jackson while on tour with the Jacksons, and a three-tier skirt with rhinestones from local legend Dolly Parton.
The Hard Rock was located in Gatlinburg for more than 14 years. They moved to Pigeon Forge for the larger space that allowed them to spread out a little bit and bring in the latest technology.
