(WBIR-Knoxville) The Knox County Sheriff's Office arrested a Knox County student on Monday, accused of having a gun on campus.
Knox County School officials say a school security officer searched the student at South-Doyle High School after observing suspicious behavior. The officer found the student had a gun. The sheriff's office immediately arrested the student.
The school system says there were no threats made against the school or any individual. The incident is under investigation.
