Knox County School officials estimate the damage and repairs from last week's extreme cold cost the district nearly $50,000.

Here's the breakdown of repair costs:
- Three HVAC units were damaged totaling more than $16,000.
- Overtime cost more than $22,000.
- Cost for supplies and materials is estimated at $10,000.
