Farragut unveiled a new look at the community's history on Tuesday.

The Community Heritage Trail at Campbell Station Park features eleven signs that highlight historic milestones of the Farragut and Concord communities.

The signs started with the earliest Native American inhabitants, and go all the way to the founding of the town of Farragut.

"It's here for relaxation, for contemplating, or just enjoying nature. So it was very logical to put this trail in this particular park, said Farragut Mayor Ralph McGill.

Volunteers worked for more than 18 months to research and gather the information.
