The first phase of a multi-million dollar apartment complex in Knox County is now open.
The Preserve at Hardin Valley hosted its ribbon cutting ceremony Wednesday afternoon. The complex is behind Pellissippi State Community College off Solway Road and offers luxury apartments with "resort-style" amenities.
Crews first broke ground on the $28 million complex last year. Three of the complex's six buildings are now open. The fourth will open sometime next week. And the remaining buildings will open next April.
It is the most expensive residential complex built in Knox County in recent years.
