(WBIR, Farragut) - If you like eggs, omelettes, waffles, and pancakes, there's a new breakfast restaurant in town that specializes in just that.

The Egg & I opened last week in Farragut on Lovell Road.

The new restaurant is only open in the morning and early afternoon serving up a variety of breakfast options as well as soups and other lunch items. The menu features dishes inspired by many different regions in the United States.

"I think what it brings is a fantastic, casual, upscale experience. It's a real warm building. Our servers are friends serving friends daily," said General Manager John Harlacher.

The Egg & I brand is just now moving into the Tennessee market. Several openings are planned in the Nashville and Chattanooga areas, as well as another Knoxville location in Bearden.
