(WBIR - West Knoxville) New documents obtained by 10News Tuesday show the parent company of Tennova hospitals has purchased two pieces of land in West Knoxville. That land has been talked about as the site of a proposed hospital.

Tennova has been working to move Physicians Regional Medical Center from its current location in North Knoxville, off of E. Oak Hill Ave., to a location on Middlebrook Pike.

The documents, which were filed to the Register of Deeds Office, shows Tennova's parent company, Franklin-based hospital company Community Health Systems, bought two parcels of land at that location.

The people who live in that area have said they don't want a new hospital there, citing increased traffic.
