Here's what people will be talking about Monday from the Grammys.

Pharrell's hat

Stars showed off their red carpet looks before the awards show, with some memorable fashion statements. Pharrell Williams, winner of the producer of the year award, channeled his inner Smokey the Bear, donning a Vivienne Westwood hat that appeared inspired by a Canadian Mountie. The hat sparked comments on Twitter, including a call from Arby's to get their hat back.

Other fashion moments included Madonna wearing a grill and Lorde showing off blackened fingertips. A new trend, perhaps?

Taylor's reaction to best album and some head banging

We're asking whether Swift's open mouth, flashed on camera when best album was being announced, shows that she thought Red won.

During her performance of All Too Well, Taylor Swift sang and played piano, at one point dramatically flipping her hair. The move went viral and had the Twitterverse wondering if she got whiplash.

Pink's acrobatics

Audience members had to look up to watch Pink's performance. The singer spun and flipped in the air, hanging from ropes. The acrobatic act was similar to her Grammys performance a few years ago.

Mash-ups

The night featured several musical genre mash-ups: Metallica and concert pianist Lang Lang; Robin Thicke and Chicago; Daft Punk and Stevie Wonder, Madonna with Macklemore and Lewis. The finale performance brought together Nine Inch Nails, Queens of the Stone Age, Dave Grohl and Fleetwood Mac guitarist Lindsey Buckingham.

Wedding day

Queen Latifah introduced Macklemore and Lewis performing Same Love, joined later in the performance by Madonna. In the middle of the song, 33 gay and straight couples were married on-air, with Queen Latifah officiating. Keith Urban was caught on camera tearing up.

Beatles reunion

The two surviving Beatles, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr, took to the Grammys stage. Watching from the audience were Yoko Ono and Sean Lennon. The Beatles (finally) received a Lifetime Achievement award this year.
