(KSDK) Rep. Ann Wagner (R-Mo.) has asked that her pay be withheld during the government shutdown. Wagner represents Missouri's second congressional district.
The above letter, according to her press aid, is not just a request. He said her salary will be withheld per her instructions.

I have been informed that in the event of a government shutdown, Members of Congress would continue to receive their salary.
In the event of an appropriation lapse and a subsequent government shutdown, please withhold my pay.
