Tennessee's three-term incumbent First District congressman says he's running for re-election again.

Phil Roe announced Monday he'll seek a fourth term. He was first elected to the House in 2009 after serving as mayor of Johnson City.

Roe says he's running again to continue his passion for helping people in the First District.

"We're able to help people just like I did when I was practicing medicine," said Roe.

Roe will face fellow Republican challengers Daniel Hartley and John Paul Rader in the August election.
