(WBIR) Most of the counties in our area are reporting few problems after severe storms blew through East Tennessee overnight. Several counties are reporting fallen trees and some flooding. The traffic instances below are what county dispatchers have confirmed this morning.
Grainger: A fallen tree has blocked both lanes of Highway 92 near Southside Church
Loudon: A lot of trees have fallen down, but crews have moved most of them off the roadway. There could be some trees blocking roads and flooding. Dispatch is urging drivers to use extreme caution on the roads.
McMinn: Dispatch said most active accidents have been cleared. The east side of the county has the worst conditions, especially in the Inglewood and Riceville areas. There have been reports of debris in the roadway on Highway 11 in Riceville.
Monroe: Dispatch said there are lots of trees down. No word on any blocked roads.
Morgan: There are reports of trees down, especially on smaller county roads. County departments are currently cutting any trees blocking the road apart.
