Iran is willing to accept short-notice visits of its nuclear sites, the Agence France-Presse news service reported Wednesday as world powers resumed talks Wednesday in Geneva over Tehran's nuclear program.

No other details of the reported proposal were immediately available, and on Tuesday Abbas Araqchi, Iran's chief negotiator at the two-day summit in Switzerland, reportedly said snap visits to the nation's atomic facilities did "not exist" in its three-step plan to resolve its nuclear standoff with international powers "within a year."

That proposal, details of which were held back, was outlined Tuesday by Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif.
