Scott Dean died of a heart attack at the age of 28 in January.

The Farragut field house has a new name: Dean Field House.

The Admirals dedicated their field house to former player and coach, Scott Dean, on Friday. Dean passed away in January.

Dean played on two state championship teams at Farragut in 2003 and 2004. He went on to suit up for Lincoln Memorial in 2005 and Tennessee during the 2006 and 2007 seasons.

Scott Dean was an assistant coach from 2010-2013 with the Admirals. He had an overall record of 152-32 and coached in two state championships.

Scott Dean passed away on January 26, 2014 after suffering at heart attack at the age of 28.
