A lack of major upsets last weekend left the major elements of this week's bowl projections unchanged.
Alabama and Oregon still remain on a collision course for the BCS title game with Florida State, Ohio State and other unbeatens hoping for the Tide or Ducks to stumble.
In other BCS bowl games, South Carolina held on to its Sugar Bowl projection with a stunning comeback at Missouri. Fresno State barely kept its Fiesta Bowl spot after an overtime defeat of San Diego State.
Tennessee is projected to face Rutgers in the BBVA Compass bowl on Jan 4.
Vanderbilt is projected to face Duke in the AdvoCare V100 bowl on Dec. 31.
Middle Tennessee is projected to play in the New Orleans bowl against Louisana-Lafayette on Dec. 21.
That's how the picture looks today.
