Tickets are still available here.

The university wants to remind fans of new security rules that prohibit backpacks of any kind or size from entering Thompson-Boling Arena. All items, including purses, are subject to search at the gates, and can't be larger than 12 inches by 12 inches by 12 inches.

Smoking, including the use of electronic cigarettes, is prohibited inside the arena.

Prohibited items:

• Alcoholic beverages

• Artificial noisemakers

• Cameras with professional-grade detachable lenses

For men's games this season, gates will open 90 minutes before tipoff. For women's games, gates will open 60 minutes before tipoff. Everyone, regardless of age, must have a ticket to enter the arena. Students must enter through Gate A off the west ramp.

Ticket scalping is not allowed along Phillip Fulmer Way from Tee Martin Drive to Lake Loudoun Boulevard in front of Thompson-Boling Arena, beginning four hours before the start of a game or event and remaining in effect until the conclusion of the game or event.

Drives with permits can park in designated lots adjacent to the arena. Free parking is available on the agriculture campus with complimentary shuttle service to and from the arena, beginning two hours before the start of the game and resuming near the end of the game.

In order to reduce traffic congestion near the arena, fans are encouraged to use Volunteer Boulevard at Cumberland Avenue or Neyland Drive at Joe Johnson Drive to access parking lots and garages on campus.

Before each game, police will prohibit left turns from northbound Lake Loudoun Boulevard onto Chamique Holdsclaw Drive and left turns from southbound Lake Loudoun Boulevard onto Phillip Fulmer Way.

The section of Phillip Fulmer Way in front of the arena, between Lake Loudoun Boulevard and the G-10 garage, will close 15 minutes before tipoff and remain closed until the conclusion of the game.
