(WBIR) Many fans on Rocky Top admittedly did not know the name Donnie Tyndall on Monday. A day later though, the new basketball coach's name quickly joined the lexicon of all things Big Orange.

"He seems like the same type of person who'll do whatever is necessary to win -- as far as getting student involvement, he would take it to a whole other level of excitement because that is insane," UT student Sydney Deaver said. She watched the video that is a sure icebreaker for Rocky Top: Tyndall dancing in a 'Harlem Shake' video at Southern Miss.

"I think he would be a good fit... that's pretty awesome," said fan Cassidy Morelock. "Basketball -- students don't think that it is as popular as football. So I think that'll make it more exciting, making them more involved in coming if he's more exciting."

They say seeing the Harlem Shake, Southern Mississippi style, reminds them of two other Tennessee coaches, Butch Jones last month, and former coach Bruce Pearl a few years ago when he painted himself orange.

Fans add they liked the two decades of experience and getting smaller programs into the 'Big Dance'.
