No. 11 Gamecocks and Steve Spurrier are heading to Neyland Stadium Saturday to battle the Vols.

Kickoff is set for 12:00 pm. The match-up will be televised on ESPN. It will also air on the Vol Network.

The university wants to remind fans of new security rules prohibiting backpacks of any size in the stadium. All items, including purses, can be searched at the gates. Purses and other bags larger than 12 inches, by 12 inches, by 12 inches are not allowed in the stadium.

UT police are encouraging fans to arrive at the stadium carrying as little as possible to make entry into the stadium as easy as possible. No items can be left or stored at the stadium gates.

List of prohibited items:

  • alcoholic beverages, cans, bottles or coolers
  • radios without headphones
  • open umbrellas
  • video cameras
  • stadium seats with arms
  • weapons of any kind, including pocket knives

List of allowed items (only if they meet size requirements)

  • cushions and seats without arms
  • small diaper bags that accompany infants
  • small cameras
  • pagers
  • cell phones
  • binoculars

If fans see any suspicious activity they're asked to call 865-974-3111 or 911. From their cell phones, fans can send an anonymous report of suspicious activity by texting the letters "UTPD" followed by the location and details about the incident to Tip411 (847411)
