Former Tennessee right tackle Ja'Wuan James was selected in the first round of the NFL Draft by the Miami Dolphins on Thursday.

James was picked 19th overall, and becomes the 45th player in Vols history to be selected in the first round.

James started all 49 games of his college career at right tackle, a Tennessee record for an offensive lineman.

Listed on the UT website as 6-foot-6, 318 pounds, James is originally from Suwanee, Ga., and played at North Gwinnett High School outside of Atlanta.

James was named AP All-SEC Second Team in 2013, and was on the Outland Trophy Watch List.
