With TSR closing, Jayson Swain has a new home.
KNOXVILLE (WBIR) - Former Tennessee receiver Jayson Swain has found a new radio home.
Three days after Tennessee Sports Radio ceases broadcasting on August 29, Swain will begin broadcasting his show, "The Swain Event," on WKVL (850 AM).
Swain's sports talk show debut on on the 50,000-watt station on Sept. 1, and will air from 7 a.m.-10 a.m., Monday-Friday.
"I tried to provide insight and entertainment for Vol fans, and they responded," Swain said. "I believe our listeners will be proud of the product we're launching on WKVL ̶ it will be everything they've come to expect from the show and more."
Swain says other former Vols Jamal Lewis and Leonard Little will be part of the show regularly.
He also says Inky Johnson's "Inkspirations" segment will also follow the show to WKVL.

Swain has also launched a website, SwainEvent.com.
He will continue to appear regularly on WBIR during football season, and remain co-host of Sunday Sports Talk.
