(WBIR) A big second half push helped the Lady Vols cruise past Northwestern State, 70-46 , in the first round of the Women's NCAA Tournament on Saturday.

The game certainly didn't seem like a no. 1 seed versus a no. 16 seed for the first half. The Lady Vols only entered halftime with a two-point lead, 22-20.

However, the women rallied in the second and showed why they deserved a number one by their team name.

The Lady Vols play again Monday at 9 p.m. and will face the winner of the St. John's/USC game. The game is scheduled to be shown on ESPN2.
