The NFL playoff field has been pared to eight as the divisional round of postseason approaches this weekend.
Three of the four games represent rematches from the 2013 regular season. The Chargers and Broncos get a rubber match while the 49ers and Saints seek revenge against the Panthers and Seahawks, respectively.
The Colts and Patriots didn't play this season, but New England hung 59 points on then-rookie Andrew Luck's squad in 2012. But Saturday night's contest will be far different given Reggie Wayne, Bruce Arians and Vince Wilfork are among those who won't be making any kind of impact this time around.
Rejoining USA TODAY Sports' NFL experts this week is Dennis Saulsberry of Kankakee, Ill., the USA TODAY Sports "Pick the Playoffs" winner. Saulsberry is a fan of the Chicago Bears, Bulls and White Sox. His secret to success is "using the analytics of the sport," and he hopes his picks are accurate for the readers. Dennis went 1-3 last week after picking all the wild-card home teams. He's largely adhering to that strategy again — he likes the Seahawks, Patriots and Broncos — but, like the rest of our panel, is giving a road warrior nod to the 49ers.
Without further ado, our divisional round picks:
