Tyler Thackerson from Clinton claimed the Week 5 Player of the Week title for Offense. Thackerson won this past week in a close one collecting 37% of the votes. Thackerson completed 38 of 44 passes for 386 yards and four touchdowns. Thackerson managed to throw not one interception out of his 44 passing attempts. He had 413 total yards in Clinton's game against Karns last Thursday.

Thackerson said his most proud moment of the game he believes was the most hype moment of the game. "The long ball that I threw to fellow teammate, Drake Powell. It was I think a 45 yard pass and that just got us going. It was a close game at first, but that just set the tone and we just finished from there," said Thackerson.
