Unicoi County will be traveling into unknown territory that has been well defended all throughout the regular season. The Blue Devils are 4-7 from the regular season, barely making a spot into the first round of the playoffs. Unfortunately for them, they will have to travel to the power-house Fulton. Fulton has only allowed 57 points in the regular season, 28 of which came from a 61-28 win over Christian County. Very few teams have been able to score on Fulton's defense and no team has been able to hold their offense to less than 52 points with exception of one game in which they scored 46 points on Powell. The Falcons are averaging over 60 points a game. Without any doubt, Fulton will take a large lead quick, and put Unicoi out of the playoffs.

Maryville playing as Maryville does and holding onto their top spot, they will get an easier first week of the playoffs. They will have home field advantage as they host Bradley Central. The Bears have had an even season finishing out 5-5 before facing the number one team. Maryville will be unstoppable as usual though, and leave little to no hope early for Bradley Central.

Alcoa will triumph in week 1 of the playoffs as they host York Institute. Alcoa has proven to be one of Knoxville's strongest teams. They will take this win with ease.

Cherokee will be traveling to Anderson County. Anderson County should have this one in the bag as they have only one loss going against a decent team who ended with an even record. Cherokee came out with an even record, but they have not proven to have the strength to take down a team like Anderson County.

Two teams who are familiar with each other will have the chance to meet again in the first week of the playoffs. Gibbs will be taking a visit to Campbell County. Only about a month ago the two teams met at Gibbs. Campbell County was able to come out on top with win by a touchdown. Tomorrow night looks to remain in Campbell County's favor. However, Gibbs is on a power surge the past few weeks which secured their spot this week in the playoffs. The Cougars are coming in with high confidence and could turn this game into another close one.

West will have it rather easy at home for the first week. The Rebels will host David Crockett. The Pioneers have had a decent season. However, their defense allows too many points. This will hurt them badly, as well as early on in the game. West has one of the strongest offenses in Knoxville which will push them to gain a quick lead.

Catholic will host DeKalb County. This game's outcome should be relatively close compared to other games around the Knoxville area. There is only one game separating the two teams' records. Catholic has the upper-hand in this matchup and should pull off the win, but DeKalb will not be easy to take down.

Gatlinburg-Pittman will get home field advantage in week 1 as they host CAK. CAK should hang in there as they are known to put up a decent fight, but Gatlinburg-Pittman will not allow them to stick around long.

Cookeville will make the travel to Sevier County. However, this will be a long, sad ride back home for the Cavaliers. Sevier County will blow out Cookeville with their strong offense. Cookeville's defense will have a plate full tomorrow night.

Farragut will get to make a journey to Science Hill. Science Hill has been a strong offensive team all season. In one of their games they scored an incredible 90 points! The Admirals have a challenge on their hands, but it is not an unrealistic challenge. Farragut has plenty of talent that could pull off the upset.

South Doyle will play at Tennessee High. Both of these teams will be battling it out in a great game of football considering their even records. Tennesses is coming off of three huge wins, giving them high momentum entering into the playoffs. Offense plays major role on both teams, so this will be action packed resulting in a high scorer.

Sullivan South will host Carter. These two teams as well have similar records. Both have been killing teams until they reached their final games of the regular season. Carter fell hard to their rival Fulton last week and Sullivan South lost a close one to Elizabethton. This game will be close and unfortunate for both teams to have such a successful season and be placed in the hardest bracket positioning for the first round of playoffs.
