Fulton wide receiver Xavier Hawkins commits to play football in the Pac-12 with Oregon State.

Fulton head coach Rob Black confirms Falcons receiver Xavier Hawkins has committed to play football at Oregon State. He also had offers from Chattanooga, Austin Peay and Campbell according to Rivals.com.

Hawkins was a major contributor to Fulton's record setting offense and back-to-back state championships.

The 5'8" speedster was a versatile playmaker for Fulton, catching passes, rushing out of the wildcat and returning kicks and punts. Hawkins accounted for 2,329 all-purpose yards and 37 touchdowns during his senior year and was named the Offensive MVP of the 2013 Blue Cross Bowl.

Oregon State finished the 2013 season fourth in the Pac-12 North Division, going 7-6 overall with a win over Boise State in the Hawaii Bowl. The Beavers closed the year third in the nation in passing yards, averaging 372.6 passing yards per game.
