Gibbs opens up the 2014 season with a Thursday night game against rival Carter.

High school teams will start two-a-days on Monday, but they've already been practicing in helmets and shoulder pads this week.

Gibbs will start the season with a Thursday night game against rival Carter. The Eagles have made the playoffs in all six seasons of Brad Conley's tenure as head coach.

"We're beginning to see some lineman come on but I've been very impressed with our senior leadership. Always offensively we're gonna rely on what we do best and that's run the football with the triple option," said Conley.

"Defensively we're gonna be all over the place trying to create as much chaos and havoc as we can and hope that we can play harder than anyone else on our schedule."
