Knox County School officials decided to play it safe on Wednesday.

With a potential winter storm on the way, Dr. Jim McIntyre announced that Knox County students will stay home, just in case.

When the last winter weather moved through, school was dismissed early, but the flakes had already started to fly. Many parents and buses had a hard time getting the kids home.
