(WBIR, Knoxville) - Some lucky people in Knoxville now have their hands on one of the new iPhones released by Apple Friday.
Dozens lined up early Friday morning outside West Town Mall.
People also anxiously waited outside the AT&T store on Kingston Pike which opened at 8:00 a.m.
Employees said they planned to sell out quickly, and the store only had the space gray color of the iPhone 5S.
Those waiting in line said it was worth it to be one of the first people with the new phone.
"I really love it. I love the color it just looks like a safe color, and I'm going to take really good care of it, of course. I am just really excited to see what this phone can do and what it has to offer us," said Sila Hilizah.
Every person we spoke to in line said they were there for the iPhone 5S, with the most popular feature being the new touch ID.
The 5S also comes equipped with a better camera, faster chip and improved Siri.
Apple also released the 5C. It comes in a variety of colors and is cheaper than the 5S.
