Breaking news out of London, where the queen continues to celebrate her Diamond Jubliee: Her husband, Prince Philip, is in the hospital.
Prince Philip, who turns 91 on Saturday, was taken to the King Edward VII Hospital in London from Windsor Castle on Monday as a precautionary measure, reports the Associated Press.
He's expected to remain under doctor's care for the next few days and will miss tonight's Jubilee pop concert at Buckingham Palace.
And Maria Puente, who is in London, reports that at today's pre-concert picnic at the palace, Princess Anne and Prince Edward strolled casually through the mob, greeting onlookers and looking cheerful.
The royals, including Prince Philip, have been out and about for the past week celebrating Queen Elizabeth's 60-year reign.
