Some of us, sadly, can still sing those Wannabe lyrics.

Yo, I'll tell you what I want, what I really, really want
So tell me what you want, what you really, really want

And now we'll be singing them again because The Spice Girls reunited onstage today - for the first public appearance since 2008 . They were at the St. Pancras Renaissance London Hotel, where their Wannabe music video was filmed, to announce that a musical based on their songs will open in London in the fall.

Viva Forever, which will tell the story of the four friends who enter a TV talent show, opens Nov 27 in previews at London's Piccadilly Theatre, reports AP.

"It's better than we could ever have imagined," said Melanie "Sporty Spice" Chisholm of the show, written by Absolutely Fabulous' Jennifer Saunders. She was joined by Melanie Brown (Scary), Emma Bunton (Baby), Geri Halliwell (Ginger) and Victoria Beckham (Posh) for the announcement.

Beckham said the show would "be introducing a whole new generation to Girl Power."
