A lot of us have Olympic fever, but Samuel L. Jackson's
really into the Games, providing candid running
Twitter commentary (including some f-bombs) to his 1.1 million followers. He's being called an Olympic
superfan, who's
better than Bob Costas. And
Hoda Kotb.
One of his tweets from Tuesday night: "Commentator dude spends a Lot of time yakking about the negatives of the gymnasts... Even the Americans."
And from several days ago: "Tried to watch Boxing, BORING! Might need to change to UFC/MMA style to draw interest!"
But mostly, he's an enthusiastic supporter of our athletes:
-"Great relay WIN!!! Never a doubt! Congrats Big Mike, most medals EVER! Go USA!"
-"Seriously SMOKIN' Beach Volleyball win for US women! HAPPY BIRTHDAY Jen Kessey! Go USA"
And of other athletes: "Well the Chinese gals got that SYNCRO DIVING on LOCK!"
