DYERSBURG, Tenn. (AP) -- Folks negotiating Courthouse Square in Dyersburg might need a compass.
Some street signs recently erected as part of a downtown streetscape project point residents the wrong way.
According to the State Gazette, two signs on Courthouse Square are wrong. They identify South Main as North Main, West Market as East Market and East Court as West Court.
The project manager with the contractor said new signs have been ordered and should be installed next week.
The renovation project includes new lighting that is reminiscent of streetlamps used in the 1920s and 1930s.
