Apple shares rose 1.7%, to an all-time high of $674.49, in
after-hours trading late Friday, following the computer maker's
resounding court victory over Samsung.
Earlier in the week, Apple
set a record as the most valuable company in U.S. history, at $623.5
billion. It bested Microsoft's mark of $620.6 in 1999.
Apple's stock price is up 78% since the death of company co-founder and CEO Steve Jobs last October.
