You knew it was coming - the now-de rigueur "boxers-or-briefs" presidential election query. Only this time the target was the underpants owner's spouse, Michelle Obama - as in, which skivvies style does she prefer the commander in chief wear?
And when Live! with Kelly & Michael's Michael Strahan cringed through the question on today's show (in an interview taped Wednesday), Mrs. O was her unflappable and, um, cheeky self. Her answer, after a beat? "None of the above!" Four years ago, incidentally, her husband told Us Weekly, "I don't answer those humiliating questions. But whichever one it is, I look good in 'em!"
(In related celebrity knickers news, Aguilera said Thursday night on Chelsea Lately that she regularly doffs her drawers: "I like to be as free as possible at all times. It's just who I am," adding, "It's empowering.")
Mrs. O also revealed a perk of being FLOTUS - an empty purse. "I get teased for having a purse with nothing in it... No money, no keys... I have to find stuff to put in my purse."
