East Tennessee's The Band Perry now has a sweet treat named in their honor. The "Very Perry Chocolate Cherry Cupcake" will soon be available in Gigi's Cupcakes locations.

The original Gigi's is in Nashville. Knoxville has a location in Turkey Creek.

The band says the name of the cupcake actually has a deeper meaning.

"A little background behind the name of the flavor. We have a song called 'I'm a keeper' which is the one that kind of chickened on the album... and I've always had this secret dream to change my name to 'Cherry' so we worked that lyric into the song," said Kimberly Perry.

The Perrys' cupcakes will be available at Gigi's Cupcakes Fridays and Saturdays in a couple of weeks.

The Band Perry will be home in Greeneville this weekend. They're throwing a free show to thank fans. It's Saturday, March 30 at 6 o'clock on North Main Street.
