Trace Adkins may do his fair share of grumbling on this season of "All-Star Celebrity Apprentice," but he admits, "Some days I have fun. I do."

He attributes that to his fellow celebrities on the show.

"It's fun to work with those creative people like Lil Jon and Marilu Henner. Some days, it's really fun to watch their brains work," Adkins says. "Penn Jillette, needless to say, that guy is a genius."

What he doesn't love is compromising his tough guy exterior in order to win a challenge. So far, he's had to sing on top of a glass truck in the middle of New York City, portray a brawny soap opera actor, and dress as a caveman.

"It's gotten to the point where prostitutes walk up to me and go, 'Dude, you're doing that for money?' " he quips.

But Adkins will do whatever it takes to win the show and the $250,000 that goes with it for the American Red Cross. When Adkins' home burned down two years ago, it was the Red Cross that helped his family.

He says that if his home had never burned, he wouldn't have returned for "All-Star Celebrity Apprentice." But since he has, he's not messing around.

"I'm not coming up here to play, I'm coming up here to win," he says. "It's worked out well so far."

"All-Star Celebrity Apprentice" airs at 8 p.m. Sunday on NBC.
