UPDATE: It's over. At last.

Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries are divorced.

A Los Angeles judge has approved a divorce settlement between Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries, reports AP.

Details of the agreement were not disclosed in a brief court hearing Friday, but the judge said he felt that settlement talks had led to resolution.

The divorce will become final once papers are prepared and signed by the parties. Kim was in court with her lawyer and said she understood the terms of the agreement.

Kris did not show up, reports AP. The judge dropped an order for the NBA player to appear and explain why he failed to attend a previous hearing.

TMZ says Kris gets no money, and each side agreed to pay court costs.

Kris Humphries didn't make it to court last week for a settlement conference with Kim Kardashian. But he's getting another chance today.

Kim and Kris are both due in L.A. Superior Court for another hearing. They could reach an agreement that would end their drawn-out divorce case, once and for all.

TMZ reports that Kris may be softening, as the two have a pre-nup that would prevent him from collecting big money from Kim. And that lawyers' fees for both of them continue to pile up as all of this drags on, with both Kim and Kris having already spent some $300,000 each.

RadarOnline says that Kris, 28, wants Kim, 32, to publicly apologize. (For what exactly isn't clear.) If she does, he'll agree to end the case, the report says.

Kris wants the marriage annulled on ground that it was fraudulent.

Kim, who is expecting a baby this summer with Kanye West, wants a traditional divorce, which would be her second. (She was married to music producer Damon Thomas for four years.) She filed in October 2011 after 72 days of marriage.

If they don't reach an agreement, a trial is still scheduled for May 6.
