Sean "Diddy" Combs makes a fine addition to Downton Abbey, or he as calls it "Down Town Abbey."
The music mogul tweeted that he was starring on the show, sending the Web into a tizzy on Wednesday.
After all, PBS did announce on May 1 that Downton had cast its first black character.
There was such excitement over the news that PBS had to clarify to Reuters that it was "not true" that Diddy was a new regular on the cast.
But Diddy does star in a new spoof of the show that was posted at FunnyorDie.com at midnight. "I love it here at Down Town Abbey!" he shouts.
In it, his Lord Wolcott visits all areas of Downton and urges Lord Grantham to invest in "a little company named IBM. You may not know about it, but our kids will love it."
The video, says Diddy, offers "some real masterpiece theater."
